THE NATIONAL WESTERN SCHOLARSHIP TRUST

Since 1983, the National Western’s education mission has extended to higher education. What started as a $5,000-a-year scholarship fund corpus has since grown to almost $10 million, thanks to proceeds from the Coors Western Art Exhibit and Sale, Citizen of the West dinners, the Auction of Junior Livestock Champions and the Boots ‘n Business luncheon. The National Western Scholarship Trust now provides scholarships for 100 students studying agriculture, rural medicine and veterinary science throughout Colorado and Wyoming.
