Raising $100 million is an ambitious undertaking, especially for an organization that doesn’t have a strong philanthropic history. We want everyone to be a part of this transformative project. You can email us at campaign@nationalwestern.com or give us a call at 303-919-5214. We accept gifts of cash, securities, property, real estate and other in-kind support.

How long do I have to pay my pledge? 2017-05-01T22:27:08+00:00

Individuals, corporations and foundations can make pledges over a 5-year period.

Who am I making my gift to in a project this big, with so many partners? 2017-05-11T03:51:55+00:00

You will make your gift directly to the Western Stock Show Association (WSSA), a 501 c(3) organization that oversees the National Western Stock Show. Your gift to the capital campaign will go towards our anchor buildings and programs.

National Western is focusing on four major areas and buildings: new Yards, a Livestock Center, an Equestrian Center and the Legacy Building.

The City and County of Denver, the Western Stock Show Association, Colorado State University, Denver Museum of Nature and Science and History Colorado are major partners; the Regional Transportation District and the local neighborhoods are also playing key roles.

How big will the Stock Show become when this is all done? 2017-05-17T01:03:24+00:00

The National Western Center will be approximately 250 acres once fully built out. It is anticipated that the National Western Stock Show will grow to more than 750,000 visitors every January.

What’s the project’s timeline? 2017-05-18T01:12:26+00:00

Work is happening in earnest now—before a single shovel of dirt has been moved. We anticipate starting demolition of current structures in early 2018. The goal is to have the National Western quadrant—including the Yards, the Equestrian Center, the Livestock Center and the Legacy Building—completed within the next 5-7 years.

Will the Stock Show stay open during construction? 2017-05-11T03:54:20+00:00

Yes! You will be able to enjoy those 16 breathtaking days each January, every year, for the next 100 years—even during construction.
