What We’re Building

FOUR MAJOR NEW FACILITIES

The National Western Center redevelopment is a multi-phase project involving an array of road and rail infrastructure improvements, a revitalization of the South Platte River and the establishment of a Colorado State University academic center among them. The Honoring the Legacy campaign focuses on four core National Western facilities: the Legacy Building, the Sue Anschutz-Rodgers Livestock Center, the Cille and Ron Williams Yards and the Equestrian Center. The expansion and development of these new facilities will greatly enhance the visitor experience, provide the capacity to host a wider array of events throughout the year, and support increased attendance at other National Western Center facilities, both existing and future.

THE LEGACY BUILDING

The Legacy Building will serve as the National Western Stock Show’s world headquarters and a home to all members of the National Western family.

THE SUE ANSCHUTZ-RODGERS LIVESTOCK CENTER

This will be the hub of all livestock activities and provide multi-use, flexible indoor facilities year-round.

THE CILLE AND RON WILLIAMS YARDS

The new yards will transform the space from an oft-vacant series of permanent pens to a convertible space for thousands of visitors.

THE EQUESTRIAN CENTER

The new Equestrian Center will be one of the nation’s premier centers for year-round horse shows and events.
