The Legacy’s Upcoming Move
Saddle Up
The new Sue Anschutz-Rodgers Livestock Center already stands tall (and long, and wide – so it is when you occupy 30 full acres). So does the adjacent The Legacy, the National Western’s new world headquarters.
Both facilities are still works in progress as of this 2025 National Western Stock Show. They’ll be ready to go for the 2026 edition.
That means a lot of what’s here today will be over there a year from now. Here’s a look at who’s moving where – and who’s not.
Who’s moving in 2026
Livestock Exhibitors
Livestock exhibitors are moving from the Hill to the 200,000-square-foot free-span livestock hall in the Sue Anschutz-Rodgers Livestock Center.
Livestock Events
Livestock events held at the Stadium Arena through 2025 will happen in the new Livestock Center’s 5,000-seat CoBank Arena as of the 2026 show.
Junior Livestock Participants
Junior livestock participants will move to the Junior Market Barn. It’s on the northwest end of the Sue Anschutz-Rodgers Livestock Center. The Junior Market Barn shares the same structure as the livestock hall but is separated by a moveable wall.
Junior Livestock Events
Junior livestock events will be held at the Junior Livestock Show Arena adjacent to the Junior Market Barn.
The Auction of the Junior Livestock Champions
The Auction of the Junior Livestock Champions will be held in the 700-seat CoBank Auction Arena. It’s the same space as the above Junior Livestock Show Arena, but with deployable seats in place.
The National Western Club
The National Western Club will be moving to a vastly larger space on the fourth floor of the Legacy Building.
The Coors Western Art Exhibit & Sale
The Coors Western Art Exhibit & Sale will take place in the American Values Conference Center on the second floor of The Legacy.
The Coors Western Art Collection
The Coors Western Art Collection will finally have a permanent place of display in the Katherine and J. Robert Wilson Art Gallery on the first floor of The Legacy – just down the hall from the new home of the National Western archives, the Wold Family Heritage Center.
Who’s not moving in 2026
Many 2026 Stock Show participants will be staying put. Those include equestrian exhibitors, rodeo participants, and vendors.
